Job Description

  • Responsible for leading the delivery of Systems initiatives including DEVOPS, Environment Availability & Resiliency

  • Own the overall application delivery and ongoing service technical operations including performance and availability

  • Drive automation efforts to continually increase operational efficiency and quality

  • Participate in strategic planning, tactical operation planning, and the development of contingency operation plans for all system environments

  • Establish day-to-day management direction, define priorities and strategies consistent with business goals and aligned to the technology leadership team’s direction.

  • Communicate business vision, goals and portfolio priorities to team members (e.g. Application Owners / Development Managers, Business Systems Analysis, Platform / Service and/or Technology Project Managers etc.).

  • Work as a technical thought leader who can comprehend complex technical design patterns and help shape favorable business outcomes


  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate

  • Graduate degree preferred

  • 7+ years of development and technology experience preferred

  • Be well versed in DevOps tools, concepts and methodologies

  • Prior hands-on experience in a DevOps or System Administration role is a big asset

  • Experience in managing System Environments, integrations and resiliency

  • Experience in Unlocking performance analysis capabilities

  • Experience with Non-Prod. data management

  • Ability to work well with multiple teams, demonstrating a collaborative and service driven approach to stakeholder partnerships.

  • Influence without authority

  • Prior experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions (e.g. Salesforce)
