Responsibilities

Would you like to work in an environment that is fun, dynamic, and motivational? Can you provide working knowledge to lead the experience design strategy across channels including traditional media, web, and mobile? Do you feel you can handle the responsibility for ensuring industry leading integrated (end-to-end) experiences for enterprise customers, agnostic of channel? In this role, you will:

  • Correspond with marketing staff to ensure efforts result in web sites reflective of the company's branding and market positioning strategies.

  • Lead the planning and development process of the company's digital interface design standards, usability guidelines, accessibility guidelines and development methodologies

  • Research new methodologies and assign sections and development of information architecture, navigational models, visual and interaction designs for the user interface of the company's digital properties and interactive applications

  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the business area

  • Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, aligns with internal and external requirements, and business priorities

  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; raise issues where appropriate

  • Highly seasoned professional role requiring substantial knowledge / expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

  • Integrates knowledge of the enterprise sub-function’s or business line’s overarching strategy in developing solutions across multiple functions or operations

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and the industry environment, recommends course of action and best practices to improve products, processes or services

  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

  • Provide thought leadership and/ or industry knowledge for own area of expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit

  • Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques

Requirements

  • Over 7 years of experience, preferably in digital design, interaction and visual design

  • Undergraduate degree in design related discipline; Graduate degree preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of business processes and operations, project methodologies, organizational practices and business transformation

  • Expertise in using software tools and windows applications

  • A strong team leader who can negotiate and influence key partners including employees

  • Aptitude in exercising sound judgment while making decisions and handle confidential information with discretion

  • A dynamic, diligent, and effective influencer with can-do attitude to exercise initiative and handle several tasks and changing priorities

  • A strong communicator with established customer experience skills who can effectively connect, both verbally and in writing, with customers and related teams in a courteous, and effective manner
