Contract Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00 / hour

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Analytics Implementation Specialist to join our digital marketing and retail banking team. This is a highly technical role that sits at the intersection of frontend development and data analytics. You will be responsible for implementing tracking tags within JavaScript code for both web and mobile campaigns.

The ideal candidate isn't just a data analyst—you must be very proficient with JavaScript and feel comfortable reading through complex codebases to identify exactly where and how to implement tracking logic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Implementation: Implement and manage analytics tags in JavaScript code for high-traffic retail banking websites and mobile applications.

  • Tag Management: Utilize Google Tag Manager (GTM/GA360) and/or Adobe Launch to deploy and troubleshoot marketing and analytics tags.

  • Code Mastery: Read and navigate existing JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular code to ensure tags are firing correctly based on user interactions.

  • SDR Collaboration: Work with the Adobe Analytics Solution Design Reference (SDR) to map business requirements to technical variables.

  • Data Layer Management: Guide development teams on implementing and troubleshooting Data Layer Specifications to ensure data consistency.

  • Quality Assurance: Use debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Fiddler, or Omnibug) to validate browser network calls and ensure accurate data transmission.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in analytics implementation. (Note: Candidates with 5+ years of experience typically exceed the target rate for this contract).

  • JavaScript Prowess: Advanced ability to read and write Vanilla JavaScript. You must be able to write custom scripts to track complex user behaviors that "out-of-the-box" tools cannot capture.

  • Tagging Expertise: Deep experience with Google Tag Manager OR Adobe Launch (DTM).

  • Web Fundamentals: Strong understanding of DOM manipulation, JSON structures, and web markup (HTML5/CSS3).

  • Native Mobile: A solid understanding of tracking standards for native mobile applications (iOS/Android).

  • Communication: Ability to work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business needs into technical tracking solutions.
